Relief From Hemorrhoids Using Essential Oils

Hemorrhoids!  At some point or another, many people suffer from painful and annoying hemorrhoids.  Many women tend to suffer from hemorrhoids during their pregnancy or after giving birth.  Often times hormonal changes slow down their digestive systems which in turns then cause some form of constipation.  I won't be discussing the causes of hemorrhoids but rather how to obtain relieve from them using Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils.

I know you're like me and when given a choice prefer to use natural and safe methods for treating various illnesses and for those of you who are pregnant or know someone who is pregnant this informative post is a wonderful natural way of dealing with hemorrhoids.

Each of our bodies are different.  Each of us will responds to treatment differently.  That's why I am going to provide you with several natural remedies for using Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils to deal with hemorrhoids.  Dr. Woodson Merrel, MD (Beth Israel Medical Center, NYC) said "Most Physicians do not understand the medicinal values of Essential Oils".  Did you know that there are OVER 50 hospitals in the USA that are using Young living Essential Oils for treating and healing their patients?

How to make a suppository (Bases for herbal suppositories are cocoa butter (most common), coconut oil or glycerin & gelatin):

To make the suppositories take a writing pen or magic marker or you can use your index finger whatever you want, wrap a small piece of baking paper (about 2 inch square ) or you can use wax paper, wrap it around your pen , then wrap that in the same size piece of aluminum foil , slide the end of the paper off the end of the pen just enough to twist it really good so the oil will not come out.

You should know that Essential oil has a flash point your Essential Oils to reach that temperature.  Coconut oil melts at approximately 76 degrees, so once inserted, your body temperature will melt the Coconut oil and then allow your body to absorb the Essential Oil that you used in the suppository.

Find something to put it in as a holder so it will stay upright in the freezer then warm up the coconut oil to room temp pour 1/2 the tsp. oil into it put in the freezer for an hour or so then add the Essential Oils needed to the coconut oil and the rest of the coconut oil put back in the freezer overnight. The next day it's ready!

Of course you should make several suppositories at the same time.

I made a special holder with dividers inside to hold them upright! I use many oils this way. I might as well say now that rectal suppositories are best shaped like bullets.

Here are my two recommended hemorrhoid blends:

Mixture #1:

4 drops of basil
1 drop of wintergreen
1 drop of cypress
1 drop of helichrysum

Mixture #2:
Combine the following oils with two to four drops of V-6 oil (or coconut oil).

Peppermint (one drop)
Helicrysum (two drops)
Geranium (two drops)
Cypress (two drops)

I also want to highlight when I recommend certain amounts or drops of the Essential Oils I am referring to Young Living Essential Oils.  If you decide to use another companies Essential Oils you will have to increase your dosage as I am sure their quality and grade will not be at the standard of Young Living Essential Oils.  I also can not guarantee the effectiveness my recipes if you choose to use the different company's oils.  As the distillation process for manufacturing the oils will be different as well. Our competitors use the stems and leaves for making their essential oils whereas Young Living uses the flowers of the plants.  The difference is night and day in terms of quality and their medicinal or therapeutic affect.

I'm a Certified Master Herbalist and I can tell you that there are Essential Oils and then there are Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils. The two grades are worlds apart. Whenever possible I recommend Therapeutic Grade Essential oils for healing, nitrifying and treating the our bodies.
